 Our prayer for you is that Refuge is a place where you can take off the mask. Many people in St. Charles have been exposed to the church for both positive and negative. There is a stigma with church in our day that it is a place where you have to have your life all together, perfect kids, perfect relationships, perfect hair, perfect smile. The church is a place for the imperfect, from top to bottom. You can absolutely bring your joys, but you can also bring your junk and be loved. Our hope is to restore the church as a community of messed up people who are not just being changed in behavior, but are being changed from the inside out.
