Donations for Afghan Refugees
If you would like to provide some supplies to help refugees from Afghanistan resettling in St. Louis, you can drop them off this Saturday between 9-11AM at Central Presbyterian Church (7700 Davis Dr./Clayton, MO 63105)
You can also bring donations up to Refuge before Saturday, and Trey will take them to the donation location. Small sized donations can be left in the gray bin outside the door at any time. If you do not want to leave large items outside, bring them by between 1-4PM, knock on the door, and someone will take your donation inside.
The top items needed are:
laundry soap
all purpose cleaner
twin sheets
twin blankets
new pillows
new mops/brooms
trash cans
trash bags
diapers - sized 3-6 months
toilet paper
Items may be used in good, clean condition. Other household items are welcome along with strollers and car seats that are in good condition.
Central Presbyterian Church will be collecting supplies in the lower level of the church’s parking garage on Hanley Road. The playground will be open for kids, and they will have doughnuts, coffee, and juice. International Institute St. Louis will help distribute the donations to needy families.
