The idea that God would become a human and “dwell among us” is an astounding thought. The God of the Bible did not remain hidden or removed or indifferent, He actually wrote Himself into the story and became one of His creation!? And when Jesus walked among us, He did not come as a king or a warrior or a leader, He came as a servant. He walked and talked and met with very real people in very real circumstances. 

This summer at Refuge, we are going through the Gospel of John and meeting Jesus in these encounters with all kinds of people. We don’t just want to know our opinions about Jesus, we want to know who He really was and how He interacted with people so that we can come to know Him better.
